DESCRIPTION
The S-bite is a soft cover that fits over existing bite block sensor holders used for digital radiographs.
MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS
The manufacturers instructions were included in the package along with a STEP-BY-STEP illustrations for each of the evaluators to follow. .
PACKAGING
The evaluators received a 5 pack of the S Bite and powerpoint instructions provided by the manufacture.
CLINICAL INDICATION
Rubber silocone bite piece for the ease in taking digital radiographs. The S Bite Can be used with Dentsply and Schick systems. Sold only through Benco Dental.
EVALUATION TEAM FEEDBACK
With 10 offices and 85 patients, the CPS Team awarded SS Bite 3 Diamonds. S BIte was used mainly for Anterior PA’s according to the evaluations teams. Almost all felt that the patient’s did see a difference in the feel of the bite block and said they noticed patient’s didn’t move the sensor as much after placement. Several asked if the S Bite could be disposable due to size and easy of storage. Several wished the S BIte could be modified to become the whole part of the biting surface not a cover. Most said they would continue to use the S Bite in their practice but would like it to come variety of colors.
