Contemporary Product Solutions was created to be part of the process, providing solutions. When the “Total Team Evaluation” first evolved, our focus was to search for emerging products within a year or two from launch and to provide clinical solutions/tips to achieve better patient outcomes utilizing photography and video for the dental team. We approximately have about fifty teams consisting of a Dentist, Hygienist, Dental Assistant, Patient Coordinators and Laboratory Personnel evaluating for CPS.
The clinical evaluation process is an objective process to communicate to the dental community “our evaluators findings” of how a dental product functions or a piece of equipment performs in a dental practice through the perspective of the dental team. The process begins with a customized evaluation pdf/online survey for identified evaluators. Contemporary Product Solutions and the dental manufacture will agree to a recommended quantity. We require all of our evaluators to provide “step by step” photographs of the evaluated products as well as written comments/solutions. We are currently achieving a 95% survey return rate and making the necessary steps to hit 100%.
Once the surveys are completed, they are summarized for an editorial review along with a pictorial tech-spec on how the product was used in their practice. In addition, selected evaluated products or equipments will be in a video format to assist the dental team.
All evaluations will be published online in our magazine and viewed on our website which reaches an audience of over sixty-five thousand. Currently, we are co-marketing with Dental Products Report, Registered Dental Hygiene, Dental Assisting Digest and Henry Schein.
